Right. Subscribed successfully. Thank you <25 page, so far: an eye-opener. Lots of work on your and whomever's part. Must say, however, that four columns on a small screen (my phone) is punishing. Would far prefer to pay a little more for the option of a paper-based medium. Sterkte!
I fully agree - however, having run the numbers on it, it really wouldn't be economical until I get to like 2-3k subscribers. Wouldn't be very profitable until about 5k
But then I could have it printed on the same paper as The Economist with delivery cost factored in
Yes. Fully. But reconsider your two/four-column format which requires moving the text all over the place just to be read on a small screen which will surely be the primary medium to, perhaps, single pages in series or even separate files or instances each capturing a post or article. In other words don’t plan layout around paper when your medium is digital.
