Cape will not allowed to become independent . It would showcase black failure . The racial hatred has also risen too much in the last year . It will be seen as colonialism of the whites , again .
They have seen that their demographic changes is starting to bear fruit , so they will not allow independence on that also . The Cape does not have the resources to be independent . Only the harbour . No food security or gas or gold etc . Economically it will not be viable . The huge border will be impossible to guard . The influx will rise exponentially if the Cape becomes independent . Where will the border be in any case ? Only the Western Cape ?
Depressingly on point with much to be won and/or lost.
The potential however is unfortunately overwhelmingly tilted towards disaster. Cape independence will not be allowed. Any breakaway will result in some kind of war so no one will win. The the breakaway Cape would never have peace and it would have to defend a very long border which would simply require to many resources which would impoverish the breakaway.
We would be back to the armed struggle with the insurgents kitted out with Gucci garb.

I pray that I am wrong but I fear that your wish for a "Cape of Good Hope' is but a pipe dream. Savage post-colonial Africa, the Woke West, the brutal CCP and the Russian menace will individually or severally ensure that this never prevails. Humanity has lost its tribes and will be 'united' in readiness for a single leash or descend into nuclear apocalyptic self immolation.
