As East and West start to eye strategic maritime passages, there is a distinct absence of attention to the Cape. But that cannot last forever.
Excellent piece. Probably good that Simon's Town is not currently being considered (at least overtly) by the US because it would be seen as another Trump overreach in SA. But what a catalyst this could be for The Cape!
Well written and interesting article. Frans Cronje has a similar view on the importance of the Cape Sea Route & Simonstown.
He does, yes!
This is a follow up question for if the Cape Independence has a donation page for those outside of SA to support?
Yeah the site is down at the moment, but you will be able to donate once it is back up again
May I have a link for it please? Just so I can keep tabs on it for when it is back up.
If you mean my news site, it's capeindependent.com
If you want to donate to the cause more broadly, you can google the Cape Independence Party or the Cape Independence Advocacy Group
There are several such sites, imo the most effective is the CIAG - Cape independence Advocacy Group.
